New look for '08
It's not 2008 yet, but we decided to get a head start on things with a new look for the Building Minnesota blog. It's white. It's sleek. It's modern. What do you think? Do you love it or hate it? Post your comments. And thanks for your support.
A Weekly Dose of Architecture Books is on Substack

I'm breaking my blogging silence to do two things:
1. Alert readers to the fact I am still writing reviews of architecture
books under the title *A...

Looks good, indeed sleek and modern...bit of a change from the black...I viewed the site using the
Firefox browser...probably is designed for folks with larger, flatter screens and high speed internet?
Took some time to load
via my dino dialup, but looked great when it did...like the font
type for the posts and the line spacing and paragraph width and size makes the writing easy to read...
might want to bump up the
font a couple of points for...er
biofocal wearing readers...that's not me, of course,
Images looked great, dance center was a bit huge and the grey color
of building minnesota was lost amid the blue but that could just be my monitor...as well as the accent or emphasis font color which
looks kind of neon cyany green...
not easy to look at
Also although the grey is eye soothing and the images look great against that background perhaps the white could be shaded a bit...white is an intense
eyestraining, industrial sor of "Word" background...
But these are minor nits...well designed, sleek indeed, great writing as usual...could
use a bit more color here & there.
I think it's an improvement.
