Preserve Minnesota on June 12
The Minnesota Historical Society is sponsoring a workshop on historic preservation from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on June 12. At the event, staffers will "provide a briefing about the latest research on cultural resources in the state and other current issues as well as opportunities for your participation." The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) will also provide an update on the management plan for Pipestone National Monument, a sacred place for many American Indians. The cost of the event is $35 or $31.50 for MHS members.
